Shadow Banning

Shadow banning is an informal term referring to the restriction of a social media user’s visibility and reach, without having been officially informed of any sanctions. When an account is shadow banned, its posts, reactions, and activities will not or barely show up on other people’s feeds, search results, or discovery pages. All while technically, the account is still active and accessible.
