Native advertising is a type of paid advertising in which adverts adhere to the shape and function of content on a particular platform. The ads seamlessly blend into organic content, making them feel less ‘pushy’, resulting in them being received more positively by users. Native advertising include sponsored blogposts and articles, so-called ‘advertorials’, and sponsored social media posts. The goal is to effectively promote a product or service without disrupting or negatively affecting user experience.
