Mobile payments are transactions carried out on mobile devices, like smartphones or tablets. As opposed to payment by card, mobile payments happen on apps (Uber or Bol), with QR-codes (Payconiq or WeChat Pay), or through mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay).
