Meta Description

Meta description used to be an important SEO factor, until quite recently. It is much less important today than it was a few years ago. In theory, a meta description is used as a snippet to be displayed alongside the SEO title in the search results. But you’ll soon notice that Google takes the liberty of changing that snippet to fit the exact search query. The meta description is now mainly used to improve click-through rates, so make sure to write an eye-catching meta description for each individual page.
