Meta Keywords

Meta keywords used to be an important SEO factor. But because this tag is part of the non-visible part of a website, it was subject to immense manipulation. This caused Google to officially disregard meta keywords from 2009 on. All other search engines have followed suit in the years since, making meta keywords completely redundant.
