Alt Tag

An alt-tag is an additional tag you can add to images to help search engines better understand the content of those images. It serves as a description of what is depicted in those images. A second purpose of alt-tags is accessibility. When a user with a disability visits your website, the alt-tag will be read to them when they move their cursor over the image.
